The story in the link has been mentioned across several news outlets and is the kind I enjoy. I am not a cat person in a passionate ‘cat person’ sense but do enjoy their combination of curiosity, companionship, and independence. I am also at the point where the discussion of retired life comes up. There are so many asks of ‘what do people do in retirement?’ while they are still in work mode.
The answer is so wonderful and can be seen in the cat-man in the story. Do whatever you want and do what fits you and enjoy it even if you aren’t retired yet…and try to make it a way to connect with other souls.
